Deerhunter and Mary Lattimore live at Royale in Boston

Photo Gallery: Bradford Cox and his Deerhunter peoples brought 'Why Hasn't Everything Already Disappeared?' to the Theatre District

Editor's Note: Unless we're talking award shows and baseball standings, ww don't get too heavy into the prediction business. But it's safe to say Deerhunter's damn-near majestic January record Why Hasn't Everything Already Disappeared? is certain to land on all the right Best of 2019 lists, even with it hitting the streets a good 11 months before anyone starts to piece those annual year-end joints together. Last night (February 24), while most were snoozin' away during the Oscars telecast, Bradford Cox and his Deerhunter peoples brought that album and more to Royale in the Theatre District. Los Angeles-based harpist Mary Lattimore opened things up, giving the show an inspired slant both in sound and vision. Bryan Lasky was inside and all over Royale capturing still images of both sets, and you can scan through his full gallery below.
