Once a Disney Channel heartthrob, Jesse McCartney has been hard at work since his teenage days, and he showed off both new material and old throwbacks at The Van Buren in Phoenix on Thursday (February 7). Because we’re four and a half years removed from his last release, In Technicolor, McCartney resolved to finally finish his fifth studio album this year, thus creating the “The Resolution” tour. Also accompanying the trek across North America is 18-year-old singer Whitney Woerz, who released single “Love Me Not” last August and touched heavily on mental health during her set. Phoenix falls at the tail end of this month-long tour, which continues up the West coast for the next week. Check out images from both performances below.
