Serving as the second stop of the ‘Smile You’re on Camera’ tour, Phoenix’s Van Buren was hyped up by Vince Staples on Saturday night (February 2). The tour, which continues until early April, is very aptly named, as the backdrop of the stage is made up of screens that broadcast live footage of both Vince and fans. Staples, a member of Compton’s famous Cutthroat Boyz, has embarked on such an ambitious run in order to promote his third full-length album, this past November’s FM!. Also supporting the first half of the tour is fellow Californian rapper Buddy, who released his debut full-length album, Harlan & Alondra, last July. JPEGMAFIA will take over the opening slot during the first show in March. Scan though visuals from Staples’ Phoenix stop below.
