Editor's Note: It's been a hot minute since we all lost our shit to Sir Babygirl's bonkers theatre-pop single "Haunted House," which crashed our stuffy, boring lives in November and landed on our Favorite Songs of 2018 list. On Sunday night, former Allstonian Kelsie Hogue brought their songwriting brilliance to Brighton Music Hall, the final stop on a January North American tour with Kiley Lotz's Scranton-based, Run For Cover Records-signed rock project Petal and Philly alt-rock dudes Cave People. It capped off a pretty busy weekend of live shows around town, but it was a case where perhaps the best was saved for last. Vanyaland's María Alejandra Mata was at Brighton capturing snaps of it all, and you can scan through her full gallery, in order of appearance, below.
