Editor's Note: It was a fantastic Friday night (January 25) in the rock clubs around town. Half.alive sold out Brighton Music Hall, King Princess sold out Royale, and Rubblebucket and Diet Cig sold out The Paradise Rock Club. That last one was all types of fun, as Rubblebucket -- the ever-evolving Brooklyn-based art-pop project from Annakalmia Traver and Alex Toth -- crashed the 'Dise armed with their joyous 2018 record Sun Machine, an LP that birthed infectious jams like "Fruity" and "What It Is". They came to town with support from Vanyaland faves Diet Cig, and Violet Foulk was in the room capturing images from both performances. Scan through her full gallery below.
