Ghost live at the Boch Center Wang Theatre in Boston

Photo Gallery: Nothing says Christmas in the Theatre District quite like a Satanic pope playing the saxophone

Editor's Note: Never mind The Nutcracker or How The Grinch Stole Christmas! or whatever other seasonally-appropriate theatrical performance folks are shelling over big bucks to experience this holiday season. Maybe the most festive display of reflective emotion lit up across the Theatre District went down on Friday (December 14), when Ghost turned the Boch Center Wang Theatre into its own house of spooky worship. The three-hour show featured one of the more elaborate stage displays in rotation these days, a satanic pope playing the saxophone, and devilish sounds from the Swedish rock band's recent album Prequelle. All that was missing was Krampus. Vanyaland's John Hutchings shot the gig and captured Ghost in all their evil glory, and you can scan through his full gallery below.
