Editor's Note: Is Antarctigo Vespucci one of the greatest, if not the greatest, rock band of the past 240 years? That's not our question to answer, however, we will say that the supergroup of Chris Farren and Jeff Rosenstock know how to rawk. Fresh off the release of their wonderfully-titled October album Love in the Time of E-Mail, Antarctigo Vespucci rolled into The Sinclair last night (November 12) and turned a Monday night into a Friday night. With Laura Stevenson and The Gaslight Anthem's Benny Horowitz on stage with them, Vanyaland's Scott Murry describes the show as "one big party and love fest. With glitter on their cheeks and bright polish on their nails, every bit of this show felt like a celebration of friendship. Openers Katie Ellen crashed the party to add instrumentation and toss balloons on the crowd... this brief tour very much was a celebration -- and Boston had the prestige of being their last stop to let loose." The stage was set, relatively speaking, by Philadelphia punk band Katie Ellen, in which no one on the band is named either "Katie" or "Ellen", and the playful chiptune stylings of Boston's own (T-T)b.
