Editor’s Note: How’s ya’ bangover, Boston? Last night (October 31) we all got freaky in the Fenway, and we didn’t need a parade through downtown to celebrate. Another Vanyaland HalloVVeen party at Hojoko on Boylston Street was a rousing success, as we were honored to party with not only two very exciting new Boston projects, Trlogy and House of Harm, but also the CLLCTV DJs and one colorful crowd that came to party. The set from synthwave duo Trlogy was nothing short of delectable, as they brought debut album The Ritual to life through electronic-pop bursts of blackened neon, while House of Harm’s rousing mix of dark-pop and post-punk recalled the underground’s creative bursts of 35 years ago. Trlogy perform at our Rock City Skate Club party on November 16, while House of Harm celebrate their record release November 30 at Great Scott. We’ll see you at both, but in the meantime, relive last night’s black and pink magic via John Hutchings’ wonderful gallery below.
