Hozier and Hudson Taylor live at The House of Blues in Boston

Editor's Note: Hozier returned to Boston last night (October 1), and this time, he brought the church with him. The Irish singer-songwriter born Andrew Hozier-Byrne had one of the more rabid crowds we've seen in some time pack into The House of Blues in Boston, linking his catalog from 2013's massive breakout "Take Me to Church" to last month's Nina Cried Power EP. He even offered up an unreleased song called "Movement," and it's safe to say we'll be hearing it everywhere soon -- maybe even before his new album hits next year. Opening act Hudson Taylor instantly grabbed the crowd's attention and never let it go, and the Lansdowne Street crowd seemed particularly enthused over their rendition of "I'm Shipping Up To Boston." Vanyaland's María Alejandra Mata was in the room capturing visuals of both performances, and you can scan through her full gallery below.
