No matter what we’re calling them, the band known these days as Preoccupations and once upon a time as Viet Cong deliver one motherfucker of a live experience. Ben Stas shot their October 2016 gig at The Sinclair for Vanyaland, and the Calgary post-punk band have spent the past year showing off new album, the wonderfully-titled New Material.
Luckily for all involved, Preoccupations are headed back to Boston this fall on a co-headlining tour with Protomartyr, and it drops by Brighton Music Hall in Allston on November 26. Just when you thought this fall couldn’t get any busier, eh?
