Snail Mail announces winter shows, including Sinclair doubleheader

By now we’re all damn well aware of the September 25 triple-header guitar-rock bill at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, starring the starry-eyed brilliance of Toronto’s Alvvays, with support sets from Australian singer-songwriter Hatchie and Baltimore’s Snail Mail.

The show is sold out (obvi), so now’s a good time to look ahead — Snail Mail just announced a handful of new dates to take us through winter, and included in this fresh batch is a two-show, one-day December 1 appearance at The Sinclair in Cambridge and a support slot February 16 opening for Interpol at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Not too bad.

The project from Baltimore’s Lindsey Jordan, Snail Mail released breakout LP Lush on Matador back in June, and “Pristine” has been getting plenty of play on indie radio. So it’s only natural that Snail Mail continue to pound the streets in bringing her sounds to a very interested masses.

For the Cambridge date(s), the shows are both all ages, with one starting at 5 p.m. and the second at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at $15 to $18 and go on sale Friday (September 7) at 10 a.m. via the previous two links.

Check out all the new shows in both list and flyer form, the latter crafted by Faye Orlove.
