The last week of summer* is usually slim pickings as far as live music around Boston is concerned, but there’s a pretty cool show going down tonight in Cambridge — and it’s one we might not get to experience ever again.
And while we kinda-sorta apologize for blowing up the spot, we do want to keep readers in the loop, so here goes: The Sheila Divine are playing the very intimate and cozy Plough & Stars tonight, a Cambridge room on Massachusetts Avenue between Harvard and Central squares that can fit in about 60 people. There’s no cover, either.
“We are playing for free on a Monday night in a tiny bar because we want to,” the band states on the Facebook event page.
Can’t argue with that logic. Things start up around 10 p.m., and we imagine this is 21-plus.
*Summer ends on Labor Day. Don’t try to change our minds about this.
