Beach House live at The House of Blues in Boston

Editor's Note: It was no Beachfront Bargain Hunt on Lansdowne Street this past Friday (August 24) in Boston. Instead, it was heralded Baltimore shoegazers Beach House dropping by The House of Blues to show off the glittery spectacle that serves as their new album 7, which hit in May via Sub Pop. A Beach House show is always a grand visual experience, and this latest Boston appearance was no different; vocalist/keyboardist Victoria Legrand and guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist Alex Scally stood tall on the House of Blues stage under a backdrop of stars and other exercises in perception soundtracked by tracks like "Lemon Glow," "Dark Spring," and set closer "Dive." Vanyaland's Jack Hutchings was up front for a selection of early songs, capturing the visuals that accompanied the sound, and you can scan through his full gallery below.
