Editor's Note: A little rain couldn't stop the rock on Boston Common. WERS 88.9 FM's inaugural Wicked Good Festival took over the town on Saturday (August 18), featuring a healthy homegrown lineup of luminaries new and tested capped off by a headlining set by Bleachers. There was a full slate on the Common, as performances by Buffalo Tom, Juliana Hatfield, Air Traffic Controller, and recent additions Anjimile and JahRiffe & Jah-N-I Roots Movement filled the summer air while Roxy's Grilled Cheese were busy slingin' treats. Check out @Vanyaland617 for our on-site updates throughout the day in real time, including festival vendors, happenings, and the most-good dogs who posted up during festivities. Jack Hutchings was feeling wicked good as well, and you can scan through his massive gallery of all the day's performances, in order of appearance, below.
