Wunderkind Finn Wolfhard first graced our TV screens as Mike Wheeler on the Netflix sci-fi series Stranger Things, but he’s stepped into a new reality in late night television with his band Calpurnia.
The 15-year-old and his Vancouver-based guitar-rock band made their live TV debut on Monday (July 23), playing two tracks on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to highlight last month’s Royal Mountain Records EP Scout.
You can peep the kiddos shredding on “City Boy” and “Greyhound” below. Things gets even more up close and personal on August 18 when Calpurnia play the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, one of the sold-out gigs on their current North American tour. Ready yourself below before the band turns the Commonwealth Avenue venue, shall we say, upside down.
