Because we’re all alive and un-thriving in 2018, we’re all well aware that every bit of good news comes with an accompanying piece of bad news. And that’s the case here in Boston with Years & Years’ announcement of a North American tour that brings alt-pop royalty Olly Alexander to our coast-to-coast shores this fall.
First, the good: Years & Years’ 19-date autumn run includes an October 12 appearance at The Paradise Rock Club, and tickets go on sale this Friday (July 20) at 10 a.m. local time.
And now the bad: This shit is on the same freaking night as Florence + The Machine’s show at TD Garden and Troye Sivan’s gig at The Boch Center’s Wang Theatre.
Olly, Flo, and Troye here in town all on the same cool Friday night? We need more days in October.
Anyway, Years & Years are headed our way in support of critically acclaimed and full-length album and short film, Palo Santo, which hit earlier this month. Digest it musically below, and start working on your personal cloning device to be three places at once this fall.
