Studio 52 is a community artist space located in the heart of Allston, and is proud to support the Boston music scene and local artist community.
Editor’s Note: On the hottest damn day of the year, STL GLD capped it off by holding court at Brighton Music Hall. The award-winning and acclaimed Boston hip-hop duo of MC Moe Pope and producer The Arcitype — enhanced on stage by hype man Christopher Talken and live drummer Jonathan Ulman — headlined the Allston venue on Saturday night (June 30), continuing momentum from last year’s essential Torch Song LP and into the early stages of awareness and intrigue around their new record, due out by year’s end (and maybe sooner). STL GLD, who recently linked up with OnTrck Music, were joined on this evening by homegrown Mass Ave & Lenox rapper Avenue, and Vanyaland’s Cara DiFabio was in the mix all around BMH to capture visuals from both energized performances.
