Editor’s Note: Thanks to Fresh Out The Mint, Bowery Boston, and others with hustle in their blood, hip-hop is starting to make an impression at Great Scott. This past Wednesday (June 6), Fresh Out The Mint and SuperSmashBroz teamed up for their latest showcase at the Allston rock club, welcoming Boston Chef Boyz rapper Gio Dee atop a lively bill that also featured appearances by Gin Mason, Reem Skully, Chi, and Young Seuss. Gio Dee’s set was also ripe with guests, welcoming Polo Summers, Snowbands, and more, and Vanyaland’s Cara DiFabio was in the middle of it all. Check out her full gallery below, in reverse order of appearance.
