Usually the “arts” portion of music and arts festivals gets glazed over, but ever since Boston Calling relocated to the Harvard Athletic Complex last year, the festival crew has been working especially hard to put together visuals to grace your Instagram pages.
On top of the Dr.-Seuss-lookin’ lyric installations around the grounds, here are a couple of the aesthetic treats to check out while you trek between all three stages all weekend.

Boston Calling Gates
Ah, the not-quite-pearly gates that welcome the weary who have stood in line and made it through security. A staple of any megafest, this bad boy will shoot lasers all evening long like it did last year, like the Bat Signal of the music world. It certainly lets you know you have arrived.
