Boston Calling just got a little more Boston. Actually, it just got a lot more Boston.

The festival, which starts Friday (May 25), announced today that Dorchester rapper Cousin Stizz has been added to the bill, performing Sunday (May 27) on the Red Stage. The bad news is that Stizz is called upon to replace UK grime hero Stormzy, who has bailed on the fest “due to illness.”

Stormzy was listed as one of our featured artists on 12 acts to catch at Boston Calling ’18 before the sun sets.

This last-minute addition of Cousin Stizz makes the hometown product, we think, the first artist to play Boston Calling in back-to-back years.

Stizz will be joined locally by performances by alt-rock trio Weakened Friends, hip-hop crew STL GLD, and reunited alt-rock luminaries Belly. The fest is headlined by Jack White, The Killers, and Eminem.
