morgxn delivers a ‘vital’ new LP capped by a yearning cover of The Cure

It was only last month when we were seduced by the message and music behind morgxn’s personal alt-pop anthem, “Carry The Weight,” with all attention leaning towards today’s (May 18) release of the Los Angeles artist’s debut album, vital. Well here we are, firing it up on Spotify, and our eyes race south down the track listing to see a cover of The Cure’s “Boys Don’t Cry. A staple of his live shows, we’re thrilled to see it included on vital, and while we usually ask listeners to digest an album in the sequential order the artist intended it, we won’t blame you for skipping ahead to hear this dramatic rendition of a modern rock classic. Just make sure to work your way back. Featured image by Sam San Roman.
