The Toronto Raptors are not coming to Boston to participate in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals, but that’s not stopping the team’s favorite son, Drake, from swinging by our fine city. We just have to wait a few months.
The “Hotline Bling” fella today unveiled a summer and fall North American tour that comes to Boston for a pair of shows, September 7 and 8, at TD Garden. And Drake is bringing along Migos for the ride.
Named “Aubrey & Thee Three Amigos,” the 41-date tour kicks off July 26 in Salt Lake City and wraps November 17 in Atlanta. As Drake notes via Twitter, pre-sale begins tomorrow (May 15) and the general on-sale id Friday (May 18).
Drake’s new album Scorpion is set to hit in June, and over the weekend the Toronto rapper dropped a new track, a collab with Atlanta’s Lil Baby called “Pikachu”.
