Today, this May 10, is a pretty good one for Britpop in (magic) America: Blur’s Modern Life Is Rubbish turns 25, Super Furry Animals’ Gruff Rhys has announced a handful of fall dates, and now The Charlatans have revealed their own plan to return to our shores.
Tim Burgess and crew will play 10 dates across North America this fall, kicking things off September 19 in Mexico City and wrapping October 2 in Washington D.C. Towards the end of the run The Charlatans will hit Brighton Music Hall in Allston for a gig on October 1. There’s no ticket info posted to the venue’s homepage just yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
