Fresh off another rousing Hometown Throwdown and the City of Boston designating a day in their checkered honor, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are set to pick it up, pick it up, pick it up right where they left off. The famed Boston ska-core band are taking it out west, ever so slightly, for the inaugural Cranking & Skanking Fest.
This all-ages ska-palooza goes down August 25 at the Worcester Palladium Outdoors, and includes Toots & The Maytals, The Bouncing Souls, Fishbone, The Pietasters, The Planet Smashers, and more to be announced. Cranking & Skanking Fest also promises a healthy serving of craft beer (for the 21-plus’ers), food (for the hungry’ers), and vendors (for the shopper’ers). The ticket pre-sale starts today.
