Good news: Janelle Monáe’s David-Bowie-vagina pants are coming to a town near you.
After releasing her new single and video “PYNK,” the R&B singer has announced her Dirty Computer tour to accompany the debut of her new record of the same name, which comes out this Friday (April 27).
Monáe kicks things off on June 11 in Seattle, and wraps up the 28-date tour come late August at Brooklyn’s Afropunk Festival. She stops in Boston at Blue Hills Bank Pavilion on July 21, her first Massachusetts show in two years since Boston Calling in 2016.
Along with the tour announcement, the video for new tune “I Like That” also dropped yesterday, so catch Monáe’s avant-garde soul vibes while prepping to buy tickets on May 2. Oh, and stock up on felt and glue to replicate those “PYNK” trousers for the show, too.
