CHVRCHES drop electronic-pop thunder disguised as a ‘Miracle’

CHVRCHES are delivering a steady stream of singles off next month’s Love Is Dead LP, and we’re continuously feeling it. After dropping SOTY contender “Get Out” earlier this year, followed by Matt Berninger collab “My Enemy” and the mountainous “Never Say Die”, the Scottish electronic-pop wizards today (April 11) return with the glitchy, thunderous “Miracle.” It’s a track that really highlights the purity in Lauren Mayberry’s voice, and takes the trio into newer electronic-pop territories. It just sounds huge. “’Miracle’ is the only song from Love Is Dead that we didn’t write and record in the States, instead producing it in London with Steve Mac,” the band states. “Steve is such an intuitive writer with such a killer ear for melody and working with him felt very easy and natural. He makes space for everyone in the room and really pushes people to try things and go outside of their comfort zone, in a good way.” Listen to it below. Featured CHVRCHES photo by Danny Clinch.
