NightStop dances with synthwave ‘Under A Killing Moon’

Earlier this week we dropped a bucket of pink digital ink hyping tonight’s Overdrive synth party at ZuZu in Cambridge. DJs James 808 and J-Volitans shared with us a few selections set to be heard on their dance floor this evening, but now we’re coming correct to suggest a proper mood-setter for the early arrivals lining the bar — NightStop’s hypnotic and effervescent new joint “Under A Killing Moon,” a tumbling fit of tightly-wound retro synthwave that has us trapped in our own mental television sets. The Finnish producer born Ere Ek today (March 30) drops his Dancing Killer LP via No Trend Records, and the visual for “Under A Killing Moon” is a nocturnal stop-motion clip created by by Tommi Niukkanen.
