Just over four years since they last crashed Massachusetts, Jay-Z and Beyoncé are bringing their “On The Run” tour back to Gillette Stadium. The ultra-power couple today unveiled the North American dates for “OTRII,” and the 21-date tour comes to town August 5. Tickets go on sale this Monday (March 19) via Live Nation.
Last time the married duo brought “On The Run” to Foxborough, they were both pushing albums that defined 2013: Jay-Z was rolling hard on Magna Carta Holy Grail, while Bey was supporting her surprise self-titled LP, which shocked the world when it dropped that December with zero build-up or promotion. Their highly-visible cross-promotion has been consistent in the years that followed (and in the years since), and in January released a collaborative Ava DuVernay-directed video for “Family Feud,” pulled from Jay-Z’s summer 2017 album 4:44.
