After announcing a headlining slot at Firefly Music Festival earlier this year, Arctic Monkeys have finally released the dates of their North American summer tour (because no one plays just Delaware). Fortunately, Boston made the cut of only 11 concerts.
The tour, which kicks off on May 5 at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Forever Cemetery, spans until early August, where it ends in Toronto at Air Canada Centre, the only non-U.S. stop on the entire roster. TD Garden hosts the group on July 27 as their seventh show, with opening acts (if any) TBA. Now all that’s missing is an album announcement from the English outfit, who have remained relatively quiet since the release of AM in 2013.
Tickets go on sale this Friday (March 16) at 10 a.m.
