That seemingly endless wave of music festival lineup announcements we all digested back in January was certainly not the only batch of options we have to see some live music this spring and summer, as more fest news keeps coming in. Earlier this week we marveled at the hard rock and metal lineup offered by Maine’s Impact, and this morning we’re impressed by the slate served up by Detroit’s Mo Pop Festival.
The July 28 and 29 weekender up at Detroit’s Waterfront Park is headlined by Bon Iver, The National, and St. Vincent, but also appearing are Vince Staples, Alvvays, Billie Eilish, Jeff Rosenstock, BROCKHAMPTON, and more. We’re also psyched to see LOVELYTHEBAND, the Los Angeles indie-pop group who have dominated our headspaces lately with the infectious-as-fuck alt-pop hit “Broken.” Listen to it below as you scan the full MoPop lineup.
If a road trip is in your summer plans, take note: Tickets to on sale Friday (March 9).
