Childish Gambino announces North American tour with Rae Sremmurd

Via Glassnote

Even though we say it every year (and are never really wrong), 2018 should be the year of Donald Glover (again). The man’s about to enter Star Wars lore with his reprisal role of Lando Calrissian in this spring’s Solo spinoff, and while that should be enough to get him on the cover of Time come December, Glover is also dusting off his Childish Gambino project for a strong of North American fall dates.

This latest Childish Gambino tour enlists support assistance from Rae Sremmurd, and included in the 13 arena dates is a September 12 appearance at TD Garden. But y’all need to plan ahead: Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday (March 9) via ticketmaster.com.

Elsewhere, the tour appropriately kicks off in Atlanta on September 6, and wraps September 30 in Vancouver. The run is produced by Live Nation in partnership with Wolf + Rothstein, and as Pitchfork notes, it’s Glover’s first tour behind Childish Gambino’s 2016 album Awaken, My Love!

Hey, the man is busy, give him a beak. Featured Gambino image via Glassnote Records.
