Last time pronoun was in town, the Berklee alum was sharing her EP There’s no one new around you at her (surprisingly) first time and gig at Great Scott. This spring, as she embarks on her two North American tours (and skirts around Boston, but makes stops in New Haven on March 25 and May 22), she’s toting her new single “Run,” which pronoun singer Alyse Vellturo herself admits to be “a ball of frustration” despite its soaring alt melodies. “It’s about someone you loved taking the easy way out and running away from the entire life you built together because times temporarily got tough,” Vellturo explains.
