Editor’s Note: If you asked a friend, you’d probably learn that he or she was at Great Scott on Saturday night (February 24). Los Angeles singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers was in town showing off her acclaimed and admired debut album, September’s Stranger in the Alps, and the Allston venue was as packed as we’ve ever seen it. There were also treats galore served up: An in-the-flesh cameo from “Would You Rather” collaborator Conor Oberst, covers of Sheryl Crow and Evan Dando, and an opening set from star-in-the-making songwriter Soccer Mommy.
