When we talked to Mainland last year, the NYC alt group admitted big plans for 2018. Turns out they weren’t kidding; after confirming their tour with The Mowgli’s (which stops at Brighton Music Hall on March 6), the band dropped new tune “Hometown” last Friday (February 16). Following up last year’s single “I Found God,” we can only hope Mainland’s gearing up for either EP number three or LP number one (we’ll take either as long as “Empty Promises” is on it).
