Studio 52 is a community artist space located in the heart of Allston, and is proud to support the Boston music scene and local artist community.
Hey, remember Boys Like Girls? Of course you do! The Boston pop-rock group has been quietly lately, but frontman Martin Johnson is back with a new project, The Night Game, and people are feeling it.
Riding the success of fall single “Once In A Lifetime” and sweet spots on this spring’s Firefly, Shaky Knees, and BottleRock music festivals, The Night Game are setting out on a North American tour in March. The 13-date club run kicks off March 17 in Seattle, and lands at Sonia in Cambridge for an all-ages gig March 31.
Of “Once In A Lifetime,” Johnson tells Billboard: “There was a self-destructive time in my life when it was challenging to walk out my front door, and the world in my head was more dangerous than the world outside. ‘Once in a Lifetime’ takes me back to the moment that started with a pinhole of light, and ended with a chance to leave that life behind.”
We’re all for those types of moves. Peep “Once In A Lifetime” below, as well as all the dates on The Night Game’s spring tour.
