We’ll admit that even though they played it back in May 2016, we were somewhat surprised to not see HAIM on this year’s Boston Calling lineup. Our disappointment has faded away this morning, however, as HAIM have announced a full slate of North American dates with Lizzo, dubbed the “Sister Sister Sister” tour, and it comes to our part of the world in the spring.
The dates are posted in full over at haimtheband.com, the Boston show is May 3 at Agganis Arena. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
The tour kicks off April 3 at Schnitzer Hall in Portland, and wraps May 28 at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater. Along the way, HAIM play Coachella, and maybe most notably, Radio City Music Hall in New York City on May 4, the night after the Boston gig. It looks like Lizzo is on board for all the dates.
Last night, HAIM teased a big announcement on Facebook, and we assume this is it.
