The latest Star Wars saga is right around the corner, and many of us are wondering: Where is the trailer.
Han Solo’s so-called “origin story,” decidedly called Solo: A Star Wars Story, is set to open May 25 of this year, and yet, details are super scarce. There was a rumor that a trailer was set to hit Good Morning America last week, just before the weekend. That rumor then suggested we’d get something earlier this week, possibly yesterday. But nothing.
Now, via starwars.com, we have… a synopsis?
Sure, OK, drop it on us. Let’s roll.
“Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story,’ an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.”
Oh.
It’s cool we’ll get to see how Han and Chewie meet (hopefully Lumpy is involved), but there’s not much else here to digest. What about Boba Fett? Or Jabba’s bounty? Or those dice?
If it’s more that you crave — and what nerfherder among us doesn’t? — then you can check this starwars.com recap of all of director Ron Howard’s updates.
But yeah, we want a trailer.
