Tonight's the night -- the 2017 Boston Music Awards have arrived. As of press time we have about eight hours or so until doors open at The House of Blues, so we figured we'd jam out the rest of the day previewing the 10 releases nominated for Album of the Year on this year's ballot.

Much like our previous posts on Song of the Year and Video of the Year, we're keeping the editorializing to a minimum, other than noting that this year's ballot is a fat stack repping hard all of Massachusetts with entries from Avenue, Bad Rabbits, Cousin Stizz, Eddie Japan, Joyner Lucas, Palehound, Pile, PVRIS, STL GLD, and The Ballroom Thieves.

Besides, who needs us talking ragtime about each release when you can just hit play below.
