Editor's Note: With all the electronic music events going on these days on any night in any given city, it's a wonder Gary Numan isn't busy touring stadiums. Instead, the legendary new wave pioneer is bringing that grand sense of style and ambition to the clubs, and last night (December 4) held a captive Paradise Rock Club audience spellbound. Touring new album Savage (Songs From A Broken World), Numan delivered a varied set of new and familiar, touching heavily on his latest record as well as offering a selection from his essential 1979 LP The Pleasure Principle and other well-worn synth-pop classics.
