What Studio 52 Says: — Heavy rock/metal/punk/hardcore noise machine PanzerBastard was formed in 2006 by four handsome bastards, exhibiting in their music an obvious love for bands like Motorhead, Hell Hammer, and Celtic Frost while retaining the same type of headbanging fury. Gurthy riffing, screeching solos, and galloping d-beats are all woven together to create a blanket of uptempo hatred. From front to back, their 2010 relase Centurion sounds like it crawled out of the depths of hell, and anger seeps through every note and lyric they’ve put on record since. Fast forward to 2016’s Motorheathen for a more polished and dynamic sound that still stayed stylistically loyal to its predecessors. Don’t miss their matinee show this Sunday (December 3) at the Middle East Downstairs as PanzerBastard are support for New York hardcore staple JUDGE.
