Photo Gallery: Queens of the Stone Age and Royal Blood live at Agganis Arena

Editor's Note: We woke up Sunday morning to find Commonwealth Avenue near Agganis Arena all torn up, the asphalt jagged and ripped along Boston University's main corridor, construction cones and road closures lining from the Mass Pike overpass all the way towards the Paradise. Some suggested this is due to the ongoing, never-ending construction separating Boston and Brookline, while others posit it was a direct result of Queens of the Stone Age and Royal Blood bringing unholy guitar thunder to Agganis Saturday night (October 21). We'll assume the latter is accurate; Josh Homme and the boys delivered their latest LP Villains to town with loud, sexy muscle, and an opening set by the mountainous Royal Blood proved a night for for guitar heroes of all kinds. Ben Stas was inside this arena of sound to capture some visuals, and you can scan through his colorful gallery below. No earplugs required, no orange cones necessary
