Editor's Note: Ever since it opened earlier this year, Sonia, whether intentional or not, have been really filling our city's all-ages show void. As the Cambridge rock club sorts out its liquor license issue, it's been a haven for shows without age restrictions, and that possibly played a role in it hosting last night (October 19) one of the Next Big Things in Pop Music (NBTIPM), Billie Eilish. The 15-year-old from Los Angeles has already racked up an impressive pedigree -- and we're running with Billboard's "gloom-pop" descriptor, though maybe we dropped that in one of our posts on Eilish over the past year or so. In any event, she held court at the Central Square club Thursday night, playing hits like "COPYCAT" and "Bellyache" and even busting out a ukelele cover of "Hotline Bling." Vanyaland's Cara DiFabio was all over the room and wrestling the lights to capture some snaps from the gig, and you can flip through her full gallery below.
