Editor’s Note: PVRIS are right at home on the House of Blues stage. Last year the Lowell pop-rock trio took home three Boston Music Awards at the Lansdowne Street club, including Artist and Song of the Year, and this year’s ballot has the breakout band nominated a whopping six times (Artist, Album, Song, Video, Pop Artist, and Lyndsey Gunnulfsen for Female Vocalist of the Year). So last night (October 12) was more than a just homecoming — it was a reaffirmation that PVRIS are one of the biggest and most beloved bands to come out of Massachusetts in a hot minute, selling out the the House of Blues (as they do pretty much everywhere else across the country) for the latest stop on their ongoing tour in support of this summer’s blistering All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell LP. Vanyaland’s Eddy Leiva was in the middle of it all, capturing visuals of PVRIS as well as the inspired openers, Canadian synth-pop superhero Lights and Detroit pop grinder Flint Eastwood.
