Too Good At Hellos: Sam Smith unveils ‘The Thrill Of It All’ North American tour

Welcome back into our lives, Sam Smith.

The British singer, who is set to perform on Saturday Night Live this weekend, has unveiled a 39-date North American tour for summer 2018, and the Boston date lands June 26 at TD Garden. Ticket pre-sale for fans starts October 11 via samsmithworld.com, while the general public on-sale is October 12.

Smith’s arena tour, which kicks off June 18 in Toronto and wraps September 13 in Calgary, is named after and in support of new album The Thrill Of It All, which drops November 3 on Capitol Records. Listen to the LP’s lead single “Too Good At Goodbyes” below.

Though Smith is from London, Boston is a bit of a second home for the singer. In 2015 he had successful vocal cord surgery at Mass General Hospital, and has been known to take in Red Sox games at Fenway Park and stroll through Beacon Hill while on holiday.
