This week we’ll be shining a spotlight on the seven bands and artists performing live at the first-ever Tremont Takeover, a collaborative effort that aims to further unify the Boston music scene. The Saturday, September 16 all-ages and all-inclusive party at the Wang Theatre Grand Lobby is co-produced by Lysten Boston and the Boch Center, with Vanyaland as the official media sponsor, and is celebrates homegrown music curated by the city’s top tastemakers. Meet The Band : “Coralcola a/k/a Mikey Lee is Worcester’s favorite drone producer and DJ. A huge fan of wrestling and Baby Metal, Lee is a resident DJ at Make It New, one of the top weekly parties in North America, every Thursday at Middlesex Lounge. In addition to playing that party regularly, Lee has shared the stage with many people, including James Murphy, DJ Shadow, Trentemoller, Die Antwoord, Bob Moses, Flume, and Avalanches. He also plays everywhere, from Tiki Lounges to Modular Techno nights.”
