Chances are you won’t be seeing Liam Gallagher at this weekend’s U2 shows in London.
After being asked whether the former Oasis frontman would be attending the gigs at Twickenham Stadium, a pair of shows (July 8 and 9) being opened by none other than Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Gallagher had some choice words for the legendary rock band.
“I’d rather eat my own shit than than listen to them bunch of beige fucks as you were,” he tweeted.

When it was announced that Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds would be opening the European leg of U2’s 30th anniversary Joshua Tree tour, the vocal Gallagher accused his brother of brown nosing Bono to get the choice opening slots. So clearly there is some lingering tension here.
When some on Twitter went after Gallagher for attacking U2, the “Wall Of Glass” singer upped the ante and went in for some more.
