Editor's Note: Perhaps the best days are the ones that start with the release of a new album and conclude with it being performed live. That was the case for A Place I’ll Always Go, Palehound’s excellent new sophomore record that officially surfaced early Friday (June 16) via via Polyvinyl, with the release party coming later that night to Sonia in Cambridge in Cambridge. At the Central Square party in the former home of T.T.'s, Ellen Kempner's guitar-rock trio (who head out on a summer tour with Waxahatchee that plays Boston's Royale in August) was joined by Connecticut's Stove and Massachusetts' Halfsour.
