The Fall announce first U.S. shows in 11 years with five-night Brooklyn residency

The Fall are coming back to America.

Fresh off the announcement of the enduring British band’s 32nd album, New Facts Emerge, out July 28 via Cherry Red Records, Mark E. Smith and his crew will perform five nights at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn from September 12 to 16, and then headline Cropped Out Festival in Kentucky on either September 22 or 23.

No word just yet on if any additional dates will be added, but we can hold out hope for the next several months. Also appearing at Cropped Out are Pile, Royal Trux, Rays, Neil Hamburger, and others.

Slicing Up Eyeballs reports this is The Fall’s first stateside run since a May 2006 tour.

The current lineup for this version of The Fall includes Smith (lead vocals), Peter Greenway (guitar, synth, backing vocals), Dave Spurr (bass, Mellotron, backing vocals), and Kieron Melling (drums). Cherry Red has more on the upcoming LP.
