There won’t be any meaningful baseball played in Queens this September, but there will be a meaningful music and arts festival.
The Meadows, New York’s late-summer gathering at the Mets home base of Citi Field and its surrounding complex, announced its 2017 lineup this morning. And it’s pretty good: JAY Z, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Gorillaz get top headline billing, with Future, NAS, Bassnectar, Weezer, Run The Jewels, M.I.A., Action Bronson, Migos, Two Door Cinema Club, BROODS, and others making for a lineup with some impressive depth.
Unlike the current state of the Mets pitching staff.
The Meadows Music And Arts Festival takes place September 15 to 17, and with its second year of operation comes a newly-expanded lineup and additional day of revelry. See the full lineup below; tickets go on sale Wednesday (May 10) at noon eastern time. Featured photo by JN Silva.
