What Studio 52 Says: As one of Boston’s finest post-hardcore acts, Actor|Observer have been busy since they came together in 2009. Their live trophies include multiple Warped Tour main stage features, opening spots for local legends Therefore I Am, and sharing the stage with The Ghost Inside and United Nations — to name a few. Their skills have also nabbed them an opening spot for Atlanta hardcore band ’68 next month. All the members of A|O ooze pure and raw energy each time they take the stage. They’re at their best when their slow, clean melodies give way to vicious breakdowns that cause you to bang your head. They have several outstanding releases under their belt and are currently mixing their latest album to be released soon. This weekend, they embark on a New England mini-tour to support another great Boston hardcore band’s album release. Catch them all weekend with Lions Lions, Saturday (April 29) at Firehouse 13 in Providence, and then on Sunday (April 30) at new Cambridge rock club Sonia, a show at the former T.T. The Bear’s Place space that also features Too Late The Hero and Dreamer & Son.
